Kart racing veterans turned Rush SR competitors fighting to end Alzheimers
About
End Alzheimers Motorsports began in 2019, when father and son duo Bill and Alex Slupski – both experienced auto and kart racers who also work in sports car racing part time – began raising funds through karting and other motorsports events.
After losing a beloved family member to Alzheimers disease, the Slupskis committed to fighting back. Their objective is to use racing as a means to create awareness about Alzheimers Disease and to raise funds to help support those with the disease as well as their caregivers.
The team has raised nearly $40,000 for the Alzheimers Association, with 100% of funds directed to the “Do What You Love to End ALZ” campaign. They compete in the GridLife Rush SR National Series, piloting their #29 Rush SR at tracks including Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, and Laguna Seca.
