Jason Oehler brings a rare combination of medical precision and motorsport passion to the Rush SR grid. By day, he’s a Physician Assistant with over two decades of experience in diagnostic radiology. By weekend, he’s chasing lap times and helping fellow racers do the same.

As owner of Prime4 Racing, Jason provides trackside service and support for Thunder Roadster GTR and Rush SR competitors—because when you’ve spent years diagnosing problems in the medical field, troubleshooting racecars comes naturally.

A graduate of the Derek Daly Driving Academy, Jason joined NASA after volunteering at an event in 2014 and worked his way through the HPDE program. His dedication to the sport led to his appointment as former National Director of the Thunder Roadster GTR series, where he focused on growing the community and maintaining competitive parity.

His 2025 Rush SR campaign showcased his talent with a dominant Mid-Ohio weekend—qualifying on pole and winning three of four races. Whether he’s turning wrenches in the paddock or turning fast laps on track, Jason embodies the grassroots spirit that makes spec racing special.
