Randy Pobst is one of the most accomplished American road racers of the modern era. A four-time SCCA World Challenge GT champion, 1996 North American Touring Car Championship winner, two-time Rolex 24 at Daytona class winner, and SCCA Hall of Famer, “The Rocket” has won more than 90 professional races at every level of sports car racing. He holds the 9:54.901 production-EV record up Pikes Peak, set in 2023, and is a fixture in Hagerty’s Ultimate Lap Battle, Icons, and drag-race programming, where he and Jason Cammisa set lap records and battle the fastest cars on earth. Pobst joined the Rush SR grid as a guest driver for the GridLife Summer Apex weekend at Watkins Glen International, turning five sessions in the #740 car with a best finish of 22nd in Race 3.
