Indy Lights champion and former IndyCar driver, guesting at Watkins Glen
About
Spencer Pigot climbed the Mazda Road to Indy ladder to the top of American open-wheel racing: a U.S. F2000 race winner, 2014 Pro Mazda champion, and 2015 Indy Lights champion. The title earned him a shot at the 100th Indianapolis 500, and he spent three seasons in IndyCar with Ed Carpenter Racing before moving to IMSA’s prototype ranks with Mazda Team Joest. Pigot joined the Rush SR grid as a guest driver for the GridLife Summer Apex weekend at Watkins Glen International, turning five sessions in the #25 car and standing on the podium with a third-place finish in Race 3.
