In 2025, his first year ever wheel to wheel racing, he finished 7th in the GridLife Rush SR National Series championship with 213 points. He saved his best for last — at the season finale at Pitt Race, Battley qualified on pole, won three races, and engaged in an unforgettable door-to-door battle with Ayrton Grim that had the paddock watching. Earlier in the season he traded wins with Bryce Mersberger at GRIDLIFE Chicagoland.
