Jaylan Battley is a Pearland, Texas racer with a clear goal: turn a successful real estate career into a professional racing career — and he’s proving he belongs. In early 2026, Battley won the Skip Barber Race Series Winter Shootout at Circuit of the Americas, earning a scholarship into the Skip Barber Formula Race Series and joining an alumni list that includes Alexander Rossi and Colton Herta. In 2025, his first year ever wheel to wheel racing, he finished 7th in the GridLife Rush SR National Series championship with 213 points. He saved his best for last — at the season finale at Pitt Race, Battley qualified on pole, won three races, and engaged in an unforgettable door-to-door battle with Ayrton Grim that had the paddock watching. Earlier in the season he traded wins with Bryce Mersberger at GRIDLIFE Chicagoland.
