Andy Voelkel came to the Rush SR series with hardware already in hand—a GridLife TrackBattle Street GT Championship. But spec racing is a different animal, and Andy’s 2024 was a learning year: just 2 starts, P41 in the standings.

2025 told a completely different story. Andy committed to the full season and immediately found himself in championship contention. At South Carolina, he finished 2nd in all four races, separated from Ryan Leach by mere car lengths. At Road Atlanta in the rain, same result. At Lime Rock, he battled James French for podium positions.

By season’s end, Andy had racked up 10 podiums across 24 starts and finished P2 in the championship—proving that with seat time, talent rises to the top.
